Recordist's notes
Microphones positioned above the water’s surface near the shore, among the reeds. Chunks of ice float down the river amid frosty foam. Birds take flight from time to time. A wonderfully complex gurgling and murmuring of icy slush and pieces of ice clattering against each other. Further in the distance faint thuds as ice floes collide. A family is crossing the river on the other side. (Tascam FR-AV2 + LOM Uši Pro)
