Recordist's notes

I went for a short walk on the riverbanks that surround the old part of the city. It was right before sunset on a Saturday afternoon. I expected a quiet atmosphere on the embankments, yet it turned out to be quite a commotion there. In the industrial buildings nearby, someone was using some kind of compressor and on the other side of the river hear the whine of sawing, which flooded the whole area. For a moment, a dog of passing walkers ran up to me but was called off by its owners. (roland r-07)
