Recordist's notes

This recording is part of an investigation into the close-season soundscape of football pitches on the route between Brightwell-cum-Sotwell and Winslow. The investigation is entitled 'Travel! The corridor of uncertainty' and is part Get Rid! a project exploring the sounding cultures of grassroots football. Oving Recreation Ground is to the East of Bowling Alley a road that runs from north to south through the village. The recreation ground is the home of Oving FC who have been playing here since 1887. This recording was made using a Sound Devices 722T and an AT4025B.
