Recordist's notes

We recorded this conversation with Ruvimbo in my little hostel room, sitting on the bed, looking in to the empty courtyard, most guests are still out… “I’m an all-rounder”, says Ruvimbo; from an early experience in theatre, and runner at events, to events organizing, from jewelry and dress design to interior design, to mentoring youths and generally “bringing people together”, all this is part of “the one thing” she does. Ruvimbo is a diligent observer and sharp analyst of the society around her. Here she shares with us her views and her experiences of life in Harare and life in Bulawayo, and compares her experiences in Europe and in Africa. The entire conversation with Ruvimbo is archived here: https://archive.org/details/Voices_from_Harare_573
