Recordist's notes
Opening of an exhibition space in St. Anne's church, in the old town of Taranto, Southern Italy. The band plays "Brigante se more" by Musicaviva, popular song composed in 1979. This song is about Brigandage in the Two Sicilies after unity of Italy in 1861. Nowdays this song is often used as hymn in demonstration of social uprest against state's politics. The lyrcs are modified by the singer to reflect the current socio-economic situation in Taranto, Southern Italy, particularly strangled by the industrial pole nearby, which causes environmental damage and uncertain and unsafe jobs.
