Protest against A412 Motorway at Machilly Lake

On September 26th 2026, more than 500 people took the opportunity of the national "walks for climate, peace, living world and justice" events to meet in Machilly, Haute-Savoie, France, especially to express their protest against the A412 motorway project, also named "Autoroute du Chablais", supposed to link Machilly to Thonon-Les-Bains, in this alpine area called "Chablais". The event included speeches, music, and was also the opportunity for local environmental care associations to expose their work and inform general public. This recording was performed while walking in the park located next to the Machilly lake, capturing music played on stage, intelligible parts of conversation, general backdground noise of people talking, child playing, bicycles, and then meeting speakers.
