The River Don Engine. Housed within Kelham Island Museum. Developing 12,000 horsepower, The River Don Engine is a 1905-built steam engine which was used for hot rolling steel armour plate. The engine is run for approximately two minutes every day at 12 and 2pm for visitors. (recorded with Marantz 661 with Rode NT4) http://www.simt.co.uk/kelham-island-museum/river-don-engine
