Recordist's notes
On a small headland made of tetrapods and other rocks fisherman gather alongside with tourists who want to take a break from the busy beach. The latter is still present in the soundscape with human noises, music rumble and boat-engine noises. Turning the microphone away from it and towards the rocks brings a different type of ambience, as the "generic" sea sound of waves crashing on the shore is less present and a calmer watery sound (almost akin to a lake) is present. Recorded on a Zoom F8 using a Superlux S502 ORTF Stereo Microphone.
