Recordist's notes

walking around the flea market. rich blend of sounds living in this unusual place. conversations fade in and out. many objects on display are mechanical or electrical emitting strange noises. some needed to be manipulated to squeeze out a sound. turkish pop music, radio and tv broadcasts blasting from old, cheap tv and radio transmitters. shouts of the sellers. i felt like riding a boat on the amazon and listening to the sounds of the flee market jungle. endless journey.
