Recordist's notes
One of the consequences of the war on terror and resulting security paranoia as it effected recordists, photographers, film makers and even some tourists in the UK. This law was repealed in 2010 after it had been declared a breach of human rights by the European Court of Human Rights. Today recording in London is being restricted by the increasing privatisation of what was once public space and one has to deal with security guards of buildings and other premises.
