Château d'Avignon en Camargue - Sound art work by Emma Dusong, 'Le domaine des murmures # 1'. From July, 19th, to Octobre, 19th in 2014, there is a pretty fine sound art exhibiton at the Château d'Avignon en Camargue. Titled 'Le domaine des murmures # 1', several site-specific sound works turn the parc and some of the outbuildings into a pulsating soundscape. Visitors are invited to explore the works of twelve different artists. See http://www.chateaudavignon.fr/exposition/le-domaine-des-murmures-1.html for further information. In this particular recording, you hear a sound art work by Emma Dusong, the sonic contributions of several unidentified crickets, still the drone of the water pump from the machine hall in the distance, as well as distant traffic and the chatter and laughter of some visitors passing by.
