Recordist's notes

On the eastern shore of the Etang des Vaccarès at noon. In between various sounds of cars and motorbikes passing on the gravel road behind, sounds of waves and calls of the distant flamingoes can be heard. Binaural recording. Artificial head microphone set up on some rocks on the shore, about 3 meters away from the waterline. Microphone facing west. Recorded with a Sound Devices 702 field recorder and a modified Crown - SASS setup incorporating two Sennheiser mkh 20 microphones.
