Recordist's notes

The Via Egnatia was the first road built by the Romans outside of Italian territory. It started from Dyrrachium in present-day Albania and ended in Byzantium. From the moment this road was created until today, it has never stopped serving travelers to reach their destination. Therefore, there are 5 levels of historical time that this same road has experienced: the Ancient Greek period, the Roman period, the Byzantine period, the Ottoman period, and the modern Greek period.
