Recordist's notes
Wind generators are a green face of energy production in this area otherwise dominated by huge opencast brown coal mines and associated power stations. All are owned by the company RWE AG, one of the big five European energy companies. Each wind generator has different sound. Here the transformer close to the foot of the generator hums with the wind sounds.
