Recordist's notes

This recording is part of a Sound Diaries project investigating the soundscape of football pitches in Oxford and builds on Get Rid! a project that explored the sounding cultures of grassroots football. This project titled 'One goalpost for informal kickabout' explores the soundscape of the city through a series of soundwalks starting and ending at the SARU studio at the Old Fire Station, Oxford, England and visiting one football pitch at a time. During the walks I have made a series of 1'00" recordings. The project will document public and private spaces. This recording was made where Speedwell Street meets Old Greyfriars Street with a Tascam DR-40.
