Recordist's notes
Jordan Road is a gated Forest Service Road in the George Washington National Forest. Recorded half a mile or so past the western gate, on the southern slope just below the road. Tascam DR-05; Manfrotto tabletop tripod; Rycote windscreen. Mics angled upward to catch the rustle of the wind in the canopy. Percussive sound is hickory nuts dropping in the wind.
