Recordist's notes
Every Saturday at noon Linz tests its warning sirens - a sound heard city wide. The 12 o'clock bells ring at the same time. At this place in Bindermichl Park they all sound from the mid distance. Rap playing from a kid's phone is nearer, as is the shuffling of his feet on gravel. There is a strong wind from the south blowing autobahn roar towards this spot.
About the place
Linz is a city of about 204,846 people in Upper Austria, Austria. OttoAnna lists 61 field recordings from here.
