Recordist's notes
This hillside has been constructed to channel water downwards from a pumped source at the top. The channels can be blocked by small sluice gates that dam the water behind them. Children get really serious about controlling the water flow, lifting the gates to send it in different directions, waiting for enough to build up before releasing to the next level and planning moves into the future. Arguments over what to do and who is to do it, get pretty heated. So adult.
