Recordist's notes
Humans are unable to perceive electromagnetic signals at audio frequencies, yet we are surrounded by them constantly. Anything electrical or electronics makes them. However it is possible to listen to them using cheap devices sold as telephone pick-ups. This recording uses one to track the electromagnetic signals created by a tram as it travels from Hillerstrasse to Kaserne.
