Recordist's notes
A recording captured on the banks of the Guadalquivir River in Sevilla, using a Tascam DR-05. This soundscape presents a contrast between the immediate environment and sounds from across the water. In the foreground, the buzzing of a cicada is present, a common sound in Sevilla's warm climate. From the opposite side of the river, the distant sounds of a funfair (amusement park) can be heard, including shouts and screams from rides and attendees. This recording captures a juxtaposition of natural ambiance and human leisure activity.
