Recordist's notes

A warm calm evening. The shingle beach is in front 100 metres from a sharp drop down to the sea. People are on seats on either side while gulls approach very close demanding food. There are also young gulls begging from adults. The distant rumble is the surf screened by the shingle bank. Any traffic is behind the recorder's position which is at my feet.
