Recordist's notes

On the sea front a queue is waiting for ice cream and coffee from a small shop. The service is slow and the people wait with patience. Passers-by talk and children play. Is this a very "English" scene ? I think so. I am experimenting again with laying the mics on the ground to make use of a "boundary effect" I have noticed before. Recorded with a MixPre 6 II and 2 x Sennheiser MKH 8020s.
