Recordist's notes

General ambient sounds and conversations in a busy and crowded cafe. The mics were often jostled and were moved a few times resulting in some noise which I have left as is. I tried some more aggressive high pass filtering which seems to reduce some of the very low frequency peaks the mics produce. I did try a limiter set to reduce level by no more than .5dbs at the highest peaks. Overall this setup makes editing a lot easier and the sound does not suffer in fact it seems more realistic. MixPre 6 II with 2 Sennheiser MKH 8020s in a small rucksack.
