Recordist's notes
This is the sound of cattle (especially prize-winning bulls) in their pens at the Voe & District Agricultural Show in Shetland. All of the bulls you can hear are from the local area, and many of them have rosettes. I have a feeling - if my memory is right - that the noisiest of the bulls was actually a wee Shetland bull. The Shetland cattle are comparatively small in stature, but make up for this I reckon in noise. Recorded with Naiant X-X microphones and FOSTEX FR-2LE.
