Recordist's notes

This recording features a little girl in pink wellies terrorising the doves, followed by me slowly entering into their midst (it was a really big flock) to listen to the beautiful flutterings of their wings. We were right beside a big duck pond and for some reason they suddenly all got spooked, and - as one - lifted off the ground in a huge, wing-beating cloud of birdiness. That is what you can hear in the recording.
