Recordist's notes
Migrating cranes regularly pass over the city of Berlin trumpeting as they fly in small groups. Maybe they are just flying around, maybe they have set off to Southern Spain. Formerly they would migrate south in October or November and return in late March. Now this sound can be heard almost any month of the year. Because the winters are so much warmer cranes have changed their habits and no longer make such long journeys. There is enough food in the fields in the regions around the city.
