Recordist's notes

This recording was made using a Zoom H4N, in the woodlands at Embercombe. A fallow deer can be heard 'barking' and moving through the undergrowth. Embercombe is one of the core rewilding sites in Devon Wildland, as well managing the land for nature it is a retreat centre. This recording is part of a series of recordings that will be taken across the landscape, Devon Wildland, to highlight the soundscape that wildlife experience and highlight any potential soundscape barriers that may effect connectivity for wildlife.
