Recordist's notes
This recording was taken using a Zoom H4N Pro. It was recorded at Webberton Wood part of the Forestry England Haldon Forest. As this recording was taken on the forest track, a Goshawk was seen flying up from the trees. The path's drainage ditches were lined with water mint and the insects can be heard humming.This recording is part of a series of recordings that will be taken across the landscape, Devon Wildland, to highlight the soundscape that wildlife experience and highlight any potential soundscape barriers that may effect connectivity for wildlife.
