Recordist's notes
A Walk to Highest Point in the Monadhliath Mountains Cairngorms National Park Scotland Autumn Equinox 2024. While designated a Special Area of Conservation, whose interior is rarely visited, the environment is subjugated by sporting estates. These are "broken hills, damaged and desolate." (John D. Burns) To add to the denigration, the sound of commercial flights are ever present and compete with other, older flight paths.
