Recordist's notes
To the north of the city there is a dirt road leading to fields of a vast riverside area. In order to get there one has to cross the relief canal. When the water in the river is not raised, only a small stream a flows underneath the road. To make the road passable concrete pipes are built into it through which the water flows. The pipes are cracked from passing cars so it is possible to put the recorder inside them. The crossing is interesting as the water level can change very quickly and you never know if you will be able to pass there. This time I encountered only a gentle flow of water. (roland r-07)
