… a bridge under the A1 motorway over the “Datteln-Hamm-Kanal”. I’ve often stopped over just for listening… and made dozens of recordings here; some of the recordings were woven together as the “bass-line” and eighth monologic “narrator” in the radio piece FREEWAY MAINSTREAM broadcast by Studio Acoustic Arts WDR3 in 2012. https://archive.org/details/Nowhere_better_than_568
