Recordist's notes

Around 40 ducks (mallards) competing for bread thrown by an elderly human couple, something they clearly do everyday. The ducks are well practised in gobbling up the crumbs and in fighting each other off. Mallards can be very aggressive to each other at times. In the park the cold and snow from 5 or 6 days ago has completely disappeared, but the lake remains frozen. There is a small area of free water under these trees where the ducks hang out. A few coots are also present. Trams rumble past in the background
