Gran café

This is a recording of the ambiance in a grand cafe at San Filiu de Guixols. In the first part we can hear voices filling the space, & almost feel them sounding with the woody matter of the room. In the second part some electronic sounds of a machine gradually invade the environment & the voices seem to be less at ease or even shut. This is to illustrate an aspect of the recent evolution of our sound environment.
