Recordist's notes

A busy time of year for woodpeckers, the drumming sounds at different pitches from different locations in the woodland. The city roar is there, but the varied bird calls are clear from near and far. Thrushes dominate the bird songs, but great tits are prominent too. From the lake little grebes trill and coot hoot. A lot of activity, including early morning humans walking their dogs or taking a stroll.
