Recordist's notes
This is a beautiful little wood near Wedmore. Here in amongst an old building I left my SASS rig (based on Primo EM 172 capsules made by Ian Brady (WSRS)) on a window cill overnight on the evening of International Dawn Chorus Day. I went just before the most glorious sunset with an almost full moon developing. There was a light breeze which gives a background swash and amongst other sounds are the beating wings of a mystery bird.
