Recordist's notes

St Elisabeth II cemetery is a woodland of tall trees (oaks and other species) with smaller shrubs and bushes around the graves. There are open spaces between trees, which in early spring are carpeted by purple and white crocuses. Berlin city rumble is the ever-present sonic background and S-Bahn trains regularly rumble or clatter past on the nearby railtracks. All these recordings are from an audio stream, which when set up allows about 36hrs of continuous listening. In this track light rain drops crackle on dead leaves and nearby plants in the small hours. The city is still noticeable in the background.
