Recordist's notes
St Elisabeth II cemetery is a woodland of tall trees (oaks) with smaller shrubs and bushes around the graves. At this time of the year more open spaces are carpeted by purple and white spring crocuses, which look lovely. At first light, a robin sings and blackbird songs reberate off the surrounding buildings. Crows have started their early morning conversations. Berlin city rumble is the ever present background, Sbahn trains pass by frequently and an unusually low plane roars overhead. All these tracks are from an audio stream set up the previous day about 4pm, which allows about 36hrs of continuous listening.
