Recordist's notes

Recorded from College Green at the back of the cathedral to reduce traffic noise and concentrate on the bells. A single gun salute, the Bourdon Bell strikes 11am. a second gun, muffled singing from inside the cathedral then the bells make their own partly muffled salute. They rang for much longer tha this recording. Recorded with a MixPre 3, 2 x Sennheiser MKH 8020s and a Rode NTG3 shotgun mic.
