Recordist's notes

From an overnight recording by my garden pond using a Sound Devices Mix Pre 6 II with 2 x Sennheiser MKH 8020s in a modified ORTF configuration using 32bit floating point bit depth at 48k resolution. I have no idea what species the frogs or toads are. They arrive every year at this time and call for much of the day and night while remaining completely invisible. There is one call by a donkey from a farm about a mile away and a few distant owls from the wooded eastern side of the Malvern Hills. Thankfully it was a calm night with just a few gusts and hardly any cars. A wind chime is heard very faintly from somewhere in the street. I enjoy the distant jet planes.
