Recordist's notes

Gurgling creek beneath massive temporary timber roadway, constructed atop frozen marsh. Pipeline leak repair to start this week. The site still smelled of gasoline, of which 54,600 gallons spilled in July 2012. Buckeye LLP owns this line, which runs from East Chicago, Indiana, to Milwaukee and Green Bay. Pipeline contains gasoline, jet fuel, and diesel lines.
