Recordist's notes

The Franckesche Stiftungen in Halle (Saale) is the closest recreational area to where I live, in fact it's right next to it. Every day I walk there, be it to get from point A to B or just to take a stroll and get my mind off of things for a moment. It's a calm, peaceful area amidst the otherwise loud traffic roads and construction sites surrounding it, which makes it an interesting setting for my project, in which I was trying to capture the sound atmosphere of Halle as I experience it every day. As with my other recordings, I used a Soundman OKM Surround Mic and my Zoom Recorder to record these sounds as it allowed my to capture the soundscape the way that I myself experienced it as I was walking through the area.
