Recordist's notes
Many places in Braunschweig seem to combine a varied natural soundscape (and landscape) with a constant reminder of traffic and urban sounds. Here, beside the River Oker, a probably newly arrived garden warbler sings with nightingale, mixed tit species and a lovely blackbird. The autobahn is nearby and kids are playing ball out of sight but in earshot.
