Recordist's notes
This a desolate spot, army firing ranges on grey shingle banks that reach to the power station. There is a metal fence with occasional steel gates bearing warning signs of danger to life, noise, unexploded ordinance. Red flags fly to let you know when the ranges are being used. The wind often blows and today is strong enough to make the wire of the gate rattle and sing eerily. 24/07/2021
