The hovercraft from the streets

This was a recording of the hovercraft flight (from Portsmouth to the Isle of Wight), heard from the street, a very distinctive sound for Portsmouth, that can be heard when the wind is in the right direction. It is a wonderful sound, when it turns around, when it 'lands', when it takes flight, its a full orchestra of noises that distort and reverberate through the streets, it reminds me of home.
