Recordist's notes
All birds sing during the dawn chorus but in a kind of succession rather than all at once. Here the soundscape is shared with morning trains that create a deep drone at times. The melodic blackcap, continuously reeling grass warbler, the scratchy great reed warbler, a very close cuckoo, lapwings, distant woodpeckers drumming are present.
