Recordist's notes
This is a lovely place. At the time of this recording these meadows were green with different grasses and spring flowers. It was a beautiful day with warm sun and temperatures around 24C - the first sustained spell of such weather this year. The valley's soundscape is a constantly changing mix of wild and rural human life. A railway runs nearby and the traffic rises and falls through the day. A blackcap sings briefly and a distant cuckoo calls
