Recordist's notes

This was the door in the entrance of the art school building where the artist talks were held in March 2013 as part of the Tuned City Workshop preparations. The sound is amazing - caused I think by a mix of old dry wood and hinges, and years of art students carelessly banging it on their way in and out in a hurry. An admin desk is right beside this door, and so for anyone who works there, this must be a constant sonic feature. Recorded with onboard mics on EDIROL R09.
