Recordist's notes
Time spent waiting for the photobooth to develop four black and white photos of me and Valeria. The photos take three minutes to develop, a window of time for listening to the ambience of Botanique and the nice mechanisms of the photo processor inside the booth. Sirens, trams, many car horns passing and other large sounds passing outside... and inside, the churning innards of the machine, and the delicate noise of the completed photos falling down their little plastic chute. Recorded by sticking Naiant X-X microphones either side of the photo chute, onto the photobooth, with blu-tack. Used with FOSTEX FR-2LE.
