Recordist's notes
This is the sound of a tram being slowly driven out of the tram station, then re-oriented and driven back in along a different set of tracks, to a different bay. This is a beautiful street to hear many sounds of the trams - not only their movement in and out of the station, but also the sounds of cars passing over the tracks that the trams use, creating rhythmic patterns. Recorded with onboard EDIROL R09 microphones, with a little bit of space before the tram approaches, to get a sense of the ambience of the space.
