Recordist's notes
This is the sound of the machine that binds and trims books at Williams Press, Berkshire. The kind of zoomzoom sound is the sound of the book having glue and pressure applied on its spine, while the thunking noise is the sound of book trimmings dropping into a trough below, from which they are scooped up by a vacuum and taken into another room, to be baled up and sent for recycling.
